Thai
Massage Certification
(60 Hours)

In Level One
(30 hrs), the core of Thai Massage will be covered.
Massage in the supine position will be taught, with an introduction
to Sen lines (similar to acupuncture meridians). Techniques
for massage in the seated position will be introduced. Approximately
60 movements will be taught, enabling students to perform
a 1 1/2-hour Thai massage in supine and seated position.
In Level Two
(30 hrs), the seated position will be completed, along with
techniques for prone and side-lying positions. Upon completion
of this training, the student will be able to perform a 2
to 3 hour Thai Massage, utilizing a total of 150+ movements.
Many of these movements can be modified for use on a massage
table, or to supplement other modalities such as physical
therapy, personal training, chiropractic, etc.

1, 2, or 3 Day course?
Prone, Supine, and Side-Lying Positions are all
taught in the Thai on the Table course. Each
position may be a stand-alone course of 8 hours
each, or the full Certification may be taught over
the course of 3 days (recommended).
A Note from Nayada: Add the spice of Thai massage to
your table routines! Save your wrists and thumbs with
dynamic flowing movements, joint manipulation,
rhythmic stretching and acupressure that embody this
technique.
This hands on workshop teaches specific skills
therapists can integrate into an existing practice.
This course includes discussion and
demonstration of a typical routine, followed by
step-by-step instruction of portions of the work
which can readily be incorporated into table or
floor treatments. This class is recommended for
those unfamiliar with Thai Massage and is not a
prerequisite for Thai Massage Certification.

A Note from Nayada: The massage chair isn’t just for volunteer work and promoting your practice
it is a valuable tool to provide therapeutic work for clients of all ages and physical abilities with no
oils or lotions necessary.
The curriculum for this course includes elements of Thai Massage, Shiatsu/Acupressure, and
Active Isolated Stretching, as well as a variety of percussion and Traeger-style movements.
Practitioners will be able to provide a 30-90 minute chair massage upon completing this course.
This is a one or two day course.
